Biography

 

Eric Paul is a writer, musician, and educator from Providence, Rhode Island.  He was the lyricist and vocalist for the bands Arab On Radar and The Chinese Stars, Doomsday Student as well as his current band, Psychic Graveyard. Eric has released three full-length volumes of poetry and lyrics: A Suitcase Full of Dirt (Tolsun Books)  I Offered Myself As The Sea and A Popular Place To Explode (Heartworm Press).  In 2017, Eric was the recipient of the Rhode Island State Council for the Arts Fellowship Award in Poetry.  Eric holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Rhode Island College and an M.F.A in Creative Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  His work has also appeared in such places as New York Observer, Impose Magazine, Ninth Letter, The Volta, Word Riot, Lunch Ticket, Spork, Booth, and The Literary Review.
